The Foundation for Reading Area Community College (jdb电子) was created to raise, invest and manage private funds for the benefit of the College. The Foundation supports jdb电子's mission to build communities of learning to encourage educational growth by providing scholarship funding for all students with demonstrated financial need and for emerging initiatives that serve to further enhance the College's programs and facilities. At jdb电子, we encourage our students to grow in knowledge and confidence. However, tuition can still be an obstacle. Despite jdb电子's low-cost tuition, 48% of the student body are PELL recipients, meaning they display exceptional financial need.

In 2021, the Foundation for jdb电子 distributed $963,972 in scholarships to students. It also provided more than $113,000 in support to the college's students emergency fund and food pantry since March 2020.
